If elected President, I will:
*** Stop the spread of socialist, Big Government health care and instead work to repeal the "ObamaCare" monstrosity;
*** Stop the growth of government spending, restrictive regulations, and interference in our lives;
*** Cut taxes and eliminate the IRS, because I believe the money you earn is yours and does NOT belong to government;
*** Audit the Federal Reserve, which I believe will serve as an important first step toward finally ending the Fed once and for all;
*** Ensure the federal government returns to its constitutional limits by eliminating departments and agencies that are not authorized by the Constitution;
*** Repeal Big Government schemes like the so-called "PATRIOT Act";
*** Return to the Founders' more humble foreign policy. American troops and taxpayers deserve better than to be used for "nation-building" or policing the world. We cannot afford trillion dollar international boondoggles that cost us our lives, our fortunes, and our freedom.

Crucial Iowa Poll
"A Bloomberg News poll shows Cain at 20 percent, Paul at 19 percent, Romney at 18 percent and Gingrich at 17 percent among the likely attendees with the caucuses that start the nominating contests seven weeks away."
Paul is undoubtedly in the strongest position going into the race, because his support is more "solidified than his rivals," a key factor given that 60 per cent of respondents in the poll said they could still be persuaded to change their vote.
32 per cent of Paul's backers say they are sticking with the Congressman, whereas only 25 per cent of Romney supporters and 17 per cent of Gingrich voters say the same.
Supporting the Troops
A soldier's job is to do their duty. A citizen's job is to make sure that when their government asks soldiers to do their duty, it is for a good reason. Simply giving the government the benefit of the doubt is not supporting the troops. In fact, doing so has often meant abusing our best and bravest for no good reason...
Ron Paul Air Force veteran
Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.
Why is Ron Paul So Popular?
Many continue to wonder why Ron Paul is so popular. The media wonders why his widespread support is so enduring. The political establishment wonders why the attraction to his message continues to grow. Here are some various poll results and headlines from roughly the last year.
Jon Stewart on Ron Paul
In his cover story interview in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart talks about how he likes to point out the hypocrisy of most politicians. Stewart also adds:
"You know a guy you'd have a hard time doing that to? Ron Paul, because he's been consistent over the years" You may disagree with him, but at least you can respect that the guy has a belief system he's engaged in and will defend."
Of course, Stewart is right-and Ron Paul's appearance on The Daily Show tonight promises to be memorable.
